Our purpose is an extension of Christ the King - to equip men to worship, know, and serve the king. We want to do so by emphasizing three Biblical concepts - Connecting, Learning, and Serving.
Connecting Event: Men's Retreat
Some might call this event a retreat, but at Christ the King we prefer to think of it as an “Advance”. Men meet up at a nearby camp to connect with other men, study the Bible and renew our focus so that we can more effectively serve Christ in our families, the church and the world, thereby “Advancing” the Kingdom of God.
Learning Event: Theology on Tap
The men of Christ the King gather at a local pub to discuss the Bible and enjoy great food and drink. Each time, a speaker makes a brief presentation and then poses questions to facilitate discussion. Each table then is free to discuss the topic or other conversations.
Learning Event: Men's Bible Study
The Men’s Bible Study helps prepare men to function faithfully as followers of Christ, in all their different relationships, through Bible study and prayer. Each study will utilize books or approved curricula in a small group format to help men grow in their knowledge of the Bible and how to apply it to the different spheres of their lives.

Serving Events
Christ declared that he came to serve, not to be served. The Men of Christ the King seek to model His service by providing opportunities for our men to get their hands dirty. From Habitat for Humanity to Elves and More Bike Builds to GenerationOne work in the Third Ward, the men of Christ the King regularly participate in God’s work of healing and restoration of the world around us.
