Outreach is the natural overflow of the Christian's heart. As we see and experience Christ's rich love for us in spite of our unlovable state, our instinctive response is to hold out that love to others. Worshippers of Christ the King are Kingdom-extending agents, spreading the life-changing gospel of Christ to others in concrete ways.

Outreach is also personal and practical. We will reach out to our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and relatives with the gospel and show them the love of Christ in practical ways. We also see it as no coincidence that God has placed us in Houston, Texas - the 4th largest city in the nation. We will reach out beyond our natural spheres to reach the city of Houston. We want to practically impact this city and point its people to the King.

We seek to follow the Lord's call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), whether that is in Houston, our own nation or those abroad. We seek to extend his reign in three spheres:

North America
The World

Upcoming Mission Opportunities

The Ebola Crisis

An unprecedented outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus is claiming lives daily in West Africa. Samaritan's Purse is providing direct medical care to patients, delivering critically needed equipment and supplies, and conducting public awareness health campaigns in Liberia. The Liberian community in Houston is raising awareness of this crisis and calling on people who are able to help to do so by donating money to Samaritan’s Purse. Christ the King is donating $10,000 toward this cause, and we encourage our members to participate in this campaign to help our Liberian brothers and sisters during this difficult time.  If you would like to make a financial contribution, or learn more about the Ebola crisis affecting West Africa, please click here.
