College is full of difficult and looming questions. Who am I? What should I do with my life and career? What does God expect of me?

Christ the King Summer Fellows aspires to answer these questions and more by encouraging and nurturing college students as they explore their vocational calling and seek to faithfully live and serve Christ's Kingdom.

What to Expect

Over the span of an 11 week internship our fellows will:
Gain vocational skills and explore vocational calling through a supervised internship in the church or a business.
Nurture your relationship with Jesus through worship, community life and personal discipleship.
Gain a theological foundation through the study of God's Word.
Foster a better understanding of the local church through participation in church ministry.

Calling & Career

Our program affirms that all of life is sacred, and no work is more righteous than any other. Fellows are given an option to work in:
  • Energy
  • Commercial Real Estate
  • Ministry
  • Non-Profit Leadership
  • Real Estate Financing
Each fellow will receive a stipend of $2,500 for their internship.

Church

Participate in the mission of God through the local church by serving in a number of ministries at Christ the King. These include but are not limited to:
  • Student Ministry
  • Children's Ministry
  • Music
  • Mission
  • Operations

City

As the 4th largest and most diverse city in the country, Houston has no shortage of activities. It hosts over 17.5 million visitors every year due to its nationally regarded museum district and food scene.

Houston is also home to the 2nd largest concentration of Fortune 1000 companies, the largest medical complex in the world, NASA and the nations center for the energy industry.
