Description of Sessions

Session 1:
Cultivating contentment

We all have a danger, a drive and a contentment system that we can learn to activate or deactivate. We will spend time in the first session exploring our personal expressions of each of those systems and them do some exercises intended to strengthen our ability to strengthen our contentment system.

Session 2:
Developing Compassion

The Christian concept of compassion is rooted in the Lord's posture toward us. We will explore compassionate thinking and feeling with exercises focused on increasing self-compassion.

Session 3:
Acting with Love

We will explore ways to detach from distress in order to live consistent with our values and faith. We will do exercises that aim to help us clarify the priorities that God has for us.
