Meet the Pastor
The Schusters: Margaret, Ellen,
Mary Caroline, Leo, and Anna
Leo Schuster is a native Texan, born in El Paso in 1965. He graduated from The University of Texas with
a Business Administration degree in finance in 1987. He planned to enter his father's business of Insurance,
Estate Planning and Executive Benefits, and actually did work there for a year and a half, until God put an
undeniable passion in his heart to preach his Word and lead his people.
Leo's theological education includes a master of theology from Dallas Theological Seminary followed by postgraduate work at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in July 1994.
Prior to planting Christ the King in Houston, Leo was an assistant pastor at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, as well an RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) campus minister at SMU.
Leo and his wife Ellen were married in June, 1988 and are blessed with three beautiful girls: Anna, Margaret, and Mary Caroline.
