Join us April 20-21 as our speaker, Ashley Evans Boone from Providence Presbyterian Church in Dallas, guides us through what discipleship looks like in the lives of busy women in Houston in 2012. Ashley Evans Boone graduated from Texas Christian University in 1999. Shortly after, she went on staff with Young Life for five years, two as the Acting Area Director in Rockport, TX and three as the Director of the Young Life Leadership Training program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After working with Young Life, Ashley earned her Masters of Arts in Religion (MAR) at Westminster Theological Seminary in Dallas. During seminary she was on staff for three years with the Women’s Ministries at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and while there started the Young Women’s Bible Study for women in their 20′s & 30′s and a ministry called The Bridge which facilitates inter-generational relationships between women. For 5 years Ashley taught this weekly Bible Study to young women and is still currently mentoring young women out of college. Over the past 4 years Ashley has spoken and taught at various Christian women’s retreats, conferences, and gatherings. Ashley is passionate about teaching God’s Word and being available to whatever God has for her to do and has enjoyed various teaching and speaking opportunities over the past few years.
