David, son of a PCA church-planter, was raised in Louisiana and Tennessee. Christ captured his heart in high school while participating in short-term mission trips and has felt the call to missions since that time. At King College in Tennessee, David majored in political science and modern foreign languages. He then earned a Master of Divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in California.
Eowyn is the daughter of MTW missionaries who served in France. She came to faith at a young age and sensed a call to missions in her late teens. While majoring in German at Wellesley College, she spent two years in Germany. She then obtained a Master of Arts degree from Westminster, where she met David. They were married in December of 1997.
In 2000, David and Eowyn joined MTW’s Team Berlin. Their focus is on beginning a church planting movement aimed at reaching and discipling East Berliners. David has also been involved in training future national church leaders through the Martin Bucer Seminary.
