Advent

What is your heart's reaction to a loved one's visit? Does it cause sorrow or joy? Does it bring anxiety or excitement? Advent is a Latin word that means “coming” or “visit.” During the season of Advent (marked by four Sundays ending at Christmas), we celebrate Christ’s coming into the world and watch for his coming again.
What is your heart's reaction to Christ's coming? Does it cause your heart to sing? Does it provoke in you a response of devotion and joy? Does it compel you to tell others about his coming?
Join us this Sunday as we begin our sermon series, Songs of the Savior: Advent Meditations from Luke. This is a great time of year to invite a friend, a neighbor, a co-worker, or a family member.
