Care at Christ the King is relational and happens through our small groups (Community Groups, Men's and Women's Bible Studies, and Age and Stage Spiritual Growth Classes). If you aren't yet connected in a small group, please check our our discipleship page to find a group near you!

The purpose of the Shepherding Ministry at Christ the King is to actively share the love of Christ with those members who need practical, emotional or spiritual support. Life includes seasons of pain, struggle, and crisis when we need care and comfort from other believers. Whether you are in need of meals, prayer, encouragement, counseling or pastoral care, your church family is here for you.

Prayer Ministry

If you would like to share a personal prayer need with the church body or with just the leadership, please click here. Congregational prayer requests may be distributed through e-connect (our weekly email newsletter) or via email to select groups of leadership. You may also call the church office to share birth announcements, death notices, or hospitalization news.

Meals Ministry

This ministry provides meals to church families in need due to a new baby, a hospitalization, or a family emergency.  Volunteers sign-up to deliver a meal (whether homemade or store-bought) to a member in need. If you need a meal, click here.

Hospital Visits

If you or a member of your family becomes hospitalized, we want to care for you. Please call the church office so that somebody can come and pray for you.

Bereavement

If a loved one passes away, we want to know and offer you comfort and care when you are grieving. Please call the church office if you need assistance in planning a funeral.

Pre-Marital Counseling

We offer pre-marital counseling services for members. Please contact the church office to schedule an appointment.

Infertility Support

If you and your spouse are struggling with infertility, you may feel very alone in your pain.  But you are not alone.  If you would like to share a prayer request, inquire about resources, or simply talk with someone who understands, please click here.

Orphan Care & Adoption

If you are interested in learning more about orphan care and adoption, are in the process of adopting, or are looking for supportive care for your adoptive family, please click here.  We are working to establish a ministry to this end.
