Christ the King is excited to announce the launch of RUF University of Houston. RUF, Reformed University Fellowship, is the campus ministry of our denomination and is present in over 100 campuses across the country. Blake Arnoult, who is one of our pastoral interns, will be leading this new ministry starting in January 2012.

Blake was born and raised in Houston, TX. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and finally convinced Ryan Plank to marry him in 2005. Blake returned to the University of Texas a second time to learn Arabic and earn a Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies. Sensing a call to ministry, Blake left the prospect of federal law enforcement and moved to Boston, MA where he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Blake has since made it back to Houston and he and Ryan now have three incredible children, Jacks, Paden, and Mazie.
