The Session received 57 submissions from the congregation recommending 37 members to serve on the Pastor Nominating Committee. The church elected 16 members to serve on the Pastor Nominating Committee. See below for the list of committee members.
Once the committee identifies and nominates a candidate to be our Senior Minister, the congregation will again vote to formally call the man to serve as our Senior Minister during a congregational meeting.
The selection of the Pastor Nominating Committee and our Senior Minister are important decisions, and the Session encourages every member to attend the meeting this Sunday, pray for the work of the committee, and to pray with expectation for a senior pastor to shepherd our church.
If you have questions for the Pastor Nominating Committee, you may email them @ pnc@christtheking.com.
