Vacation Bible School

Spend the summer of 2017 as a world explorer!  Join one of our explorer crews in our “Wide, Wide World Where Jesus is King” – without leaving Houston!   Christ the King Presbyterian Church is hosting Vacation Bible School from 9 am to noon, July 17-21. Explorers will learn about God’s wonderful creation as they “travel” to five continents throughout the week.

Each day our explorers will learn about Jesus from the Bible in Bible Bay, discover fantastic things about God’s creation in Discovery Delta, and enjoy a delicious snack in Mesa Munchies.  Children will also meet one of our mission partners in Movin’ Missions and have fun in Geyser Games. Children participate in a fast-paced program and move through stations throughout the morning.

Who can attend our program?

  • Our program is for children who are entering Kindergarten – 5th grade for the 2017-18 school year.
  • Our four-year-old preschool program is available for children who are or will be four-years-old by 9/1/17 and is limited to 40 children, so please register early before the spots fill!
  • If your child is younger than the 4-year-old requirement, you may still attend the program if a parent volunteers in the program. Preschool children are allowed to attend on the days a parent volunteers.  Volunteers who do not attend our church must register by June 1.

During the week the children will learn Philippians 2:9-11:

God has highly exalted [Jesus] and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Please register early!  Registration will close on July 7, or when we reach maximum capacity.
