Why a Counseling Center?

Professional counseling should be a normative part of every Christian’s discipleship. To address the ongoing and rapidly increasing need for specialized care for Christ the King members and the Houston community, Christ the King Presbyterian Church will launch a counseling ministry beginning January 2017. Further communication will follow about the exact opening date of the counseling center as well as scheduling an appointment. If you have an urgent need or a specific request, please contact Leslie Peacock.

Christ the King Counseling Center will offer professional counseling services, including individual and marital counseling group sessions, training and resources that are Gospel-oriented, relationally centered, and clinically informed.

Goals of Christ the King Counseling Center include:

  • Offering quality counseling services for members of Christ the King and the Houston community.
  • Increased congregational care and spiritual growth for Christ the King.
  • Targeted outreach to Houston community.
  • Enhanced discipleship training in counseling-related subjects.
